Check on the latest Lake Erie Fishing Reports below.

September 19 & 20th. We fished for smallmouth bass on the east side of Pelee Island in Canada. Both days the wind was NE with 1-3 footers. Saturday we caught 54 smallies in 14 feet of water. On Sunday the smallmouth fishing got better, we caught 99 smallmouth in 10 feet of water. Best day of smallmouth fishing I ever experienced. What a great weekend!!

August 7th: The day started out with six walleyes caught in the first 20 minutes. As the wind laid back so did the catching rate. We finished up with 25 walleyes for the day. The biggest one was 25 inches. The cool summer has extended the walleye season.
July 15th: Fished west of West Sister Island in 29 feet  of water. We caught 34 walleyes with gold #4 deep cup colorado blades and bouncers 4 cranks off the bottom with willow blades.
July 11th: Fished NW of the turn around in 28 feet of water. After the rain storm the wind diminished and the walleyes started to bite on #5 gold hammered Indiana blades tipped with a piece of night crawler. A 7 count was working for one of my customers. We limited out after a nine hour day.
July 6th: Caught the limit at 48/07. Drift fished hammered #4 Colorado or Indiana blades tipped with worms. We had a NW wind with 3 footers and the walleye bite was on.
April jig and minnow walleye fishing is off to a great start. The warm temperatures have created a great walleye bite with limit catches. Purple hair jigs are working.

May fishing has been tough due to all the weather changes and windy conditions. The walleyes are done spawning and hopefully get hungry with some stable weather. May 8th was so windy it blew all the water out of the canal.

June 2nd, 2010 - Calm weather for the past week has helped to clear up the muddy water. Trolling has been producing decent catches the past  5 days because the winds on Lake Erie were calm. Forty jets with 35 to 45 feet leads in 23 to 25 feet of water have been producing. Expect to catch white bass and sheephead too.
